Meet The Board

Shawn Humphreys
Executive Director
Shawn brings a deep-rooted passion for youth advocacy, community development, and creating meaningful opportunities for families in Kingston, Washington. Moving to Kingston with her family in the 1990s, she quickly recognized the lack of accessible activities and resources for local youth. Those early experiences, combined with the loss of peers from that generation, shaped a lasting commitment to ensuring that today’s youth have safe, supportive, and engaging environments to grow and thrive.
Raising her daughter in Kingston and then becoming a foster parent to a tribal youth highlighted the lack of resources that still exists 30 years later. Having these firsthand experience with the challenges of accessing affordable resources for youth and families, Shawn was inspired to pursue a clear calling: leading K-Town Teens and creating inclusive, accessible programs that empower young people and strengthen the community.
