We are just beginning our journey and while we do not have active programs in place, our vision for the future is clear and full of promise. Our hopes include developing programs that foster connection and a sense of community. Though we are in our early stages, our commitment is strong, and we are excited to share our vision for the future here.
The Spot
First and foremost, we want to provide a place where teens can simply hang out, grab some food and be themselves. Access to simple things like comfortable seating, free snacks, music, games and friendly adults nearby creates an environment where teens feel valued rather than monitored. A community that offers teens a place to belong is a community investing in it’s future.

The Patch
Our first program and one that is already underway is a hands-on teen gardening initiative focused on teaching youth how to grow their own food from seed to harvest. Teens will learn practical skills such as planting, irrigation, crop care and sustainable growing practices, while also gaining an understanding of nutrition. Beyond the garden beds, teens will develop teamwork, responsibility and basic entrepreneurship skills by harvesting and selling their produce at the local farmers market.
The Trail
This guided outdoor program invites teens ages 13-18 to explore local trails along with an experienced mentor. Participants will learn to recognize native species, understand local ecosystems, and build practical outdoor skills in a supportive group setting. By walking side by side and focusing on the natural world, the pressure of face to face conversation is eased. Being active together allows conversations to unfold naturally, making mentorship feel more comfortable, authentic and accessible.

The Studio
One of our future programs will be engaging youth in music through an instrument lending program supported by dedicated volunteers. By providing access to instruments at no cost, we hope to remove financial barriers that often prevent young people from exploring their musical interests. Alongside the lending program, community volunteers with musical experience will offer guidance, mentorship, and introductory lessons to help teens build confidence in their skills.
The Shop
Another hope for future programming is a fashion design class. Teens will explore their passion for style, design and self expression while gaining a valuable skill. They will learn the fundamentals of fabrics selection, sewing and garment construction under the guidance of experienced mentors. This program will not only nurture artistic talent but also encourage innovation and teamwork. Wearing their own art will build confidence and create a strong sense of self.

The Garage
This hands-on program will be where teens learn essential automotive skills, from basic maintenance to more advanced repair techniques. Beyond building skills, this program gives back. Cars repaired at ‘The Garage’ will be donated to community members in need. Helping others gain reliable transportation will show teens the real world impact of their work, giving them a sense of purpose while making a tangible difference in their community.
The Haven
Our future peer counseling program will empower teens to support one another. Participants develop active listening skills, empathy and healthy communication strategies while learning how to recognize when to offer support and when to refer concerns to a trusted adult. By creating a safe, youth led environment, the program creates a safe haven where teens feel heard, valued and supported.
